Description
Dating back to 1927, the Mormon Lake Lookout on the Mormon Lake District of the Coconino National Forest is a 48' Aermotor LX-24 tower with a 7'x7' metal cab. It replaced a wooden tower built back in 1915 at a reported cost of only $139.
The tower was demolished by 2024, with only rubble remaining.
