Description
The Campbellville site has hosted a lookout since at least 1922, originally for the Lassen National Forest.
The State of California constructed a new structure in 1937, an 8x8 foot wood frame observation only cabin on a 60 foot treated timber tower. A BC-201 residence cabin was also constructed.
The lookout structure was gone by 1986 and the land was listed for potential sale by the State Department of General Services in 2014.
