Description
Hat Creek Rim Lookout was constructed for the Lassen National Forest in 1934. A California Region 5 Plan BC-301 cabin on a 30 foot K-Brace open steel tower.
The lookout cabin was destroyed during a wildfire backfiring effort in 1987 and was not rebuilt. The steel tower remains to this day.
