Description
Medicine Mountain is located within the Marble Mountain Wilderness Area and was selected as a lookout site in 1932, replacing Marble Mountain. A ground cabin, a California Region 5 Plan BC-301 was constructed in 1934.
Medicine Mountain was staffed as needed other than 1955-60 when it was staffed full time.
The lookout was dismantled in 1979. Nothing remains at the site.
