Description
Mount Carmel was a short lived Aircraft Warning Service post constructed in 1943. The building was the standard AWS ground cabin and observers cupola design.
The post was deactivated sometime in 1944 or 45.
The structure was destroyed in the 1954 Devils Peak Fire.
