Description
Packers Peak became a lookout site as early as 1911, with the lookout using a nearby cabin while traveling to the peak daily.
The unusual for California and unique for the Klamath National Forest cupola style lookout cabin was built in 1914. The site served into the 1960's.
Removal date is unknown. Nothing remains at the site.
