Description
Built and in service by 1922, this 7' open timber tower with 8'x8' wooden cab having a 45 degree hip roof and individual, prop up shutters for each window is now gone. The site is thought to have been used for emergency staffing and is located just east of the current USFS San Juan Fire Station. A trail still leads to the site from the fire station.
