Description
The Billeria Fire Tower was an existing stone structure located on the grounds of the Maryknoll/St. Vincent Seminary. It was pressed into fire tower use in 1938 after the existing Chelmsford Tower was destroyed by a hurricane. It was used until Chelmsford was rebuilt in 1939.
The tower still stands in 2015 but is privately owned.
