Description
Built in the late 1920s, this 12'x14' frame cabin with firefinder platform on the roof was used primarily as a Guard Station. The fireman's duty was trail maintenance and patrol on the north side of Mt. Hood. The cabin was used as a lookout during and after lightning storms. It was gone by the 1970s.
