Description
From an article in the the Lead Daily Call dated July 17, 1943: "The Parker Peak forest ranger lookout directly above Minnekahta, was completed July 10, according to announcements by N.E. Hibbard, district forest ranger." Doreen Miller was the first person to staff the fire tower.
