Cow Knob tower was one of the many towers on the Virginia/West Virginia state line. It was built in 1932 as a 45-foot steel tower with a 14'x14' wooden cab. It could be seen from US 33. It was sold at auction to a local from the Rockingham County area with hopes of one day rebuilding it.
