Description

Built in 1919, this 15'x18' shake cabin with a 1/4 sized second floor observatory likely remained in use as living quarters after an 82' treated timber tower with 7'x7' cab was built in 1936. The tower was shortened to 55' feet in 1960 and a live-in DNR cab was placed on top. The site was abandoned entirely in 1967 and the lookout is now gone.
