Description

This tower was built by CCC crews in 1936-1937. It was dedicated on July 5, 1937 to the memory of Cheat District Ranger Donald R. Gaudineer who perished in a futile effort to save his three daughters from a fire at their home. The tower was abandoned by the 1970s.
