Located high about Lake Berryessa, this lookout was destroyed by the Rumsey Fire in 2004.
Berryessa Peak Lookout was a CDF 809R design on a 30 foot K-Brace enclosed steel tower in the original style. The structure was one of only four, along with Sid Ormsbee in Monterey County, Mount Woodson and Boucher Hill in San Diego County. Only Sid Ormsbee and Boucher Hill survive.
